This guide describes how to deploy the infrastructure required for a Vault release. You should use it in conjunction with one of the following guides.

For new clients taking Vault release 4.0 or later, see the TMComponent Operator guidance.

For existing clients using the Classic Installer (and using the Vault Installation Tools guidance) we recommend moving to the TMComponent Operator.

Before following the instructions for Kafka, check that your version of Kafka is supported by Vault.
