There’s a copy module that has a recursive parameter in it 
but there’s something called synchronize which is more efficient 
for large numbers of files. 
For example:

1- synchronize:
2   src: /first/absolute/path
3   dest: /second/absolute/path
4   delegate_to: "{{ inventory_hostname }}"
