Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) help make profound decisions for improving the application's performance. Throughput, latency, and footprint are a few of the important KPIs. The KPIs in the report include Throughput and Latency. The footprint basically describes the amount of time CPU was occupied. It can be obtained from a performance-monitoring tool, such as JVisualVM.
The Throughput option indicates the amount of productive work done by the application during a specified time period. The Latency option indicates the average time taken by the GC to run.
