The Postings API supports a separate request topic (also known as the Postings Migration API) designed for migrating postings from another banking platform into Vault.

Request topic: vault.migrations.postings.requests

Request message: Same format as CreatePostingInstructionBatchRequest; however the field-level validation will differ when migrating Postings. For more information, see the Migrating to Vault Core: Data Dictionary, available in the release pack.

In addition to field-level validation changes there are also differences in how Postings migrated via this topic are validated and handled compared to the normal Postings API. For more information about migrating Postings see the Migrating to Vault Core: Migration APIs guide.
