App\Models\User.php

Make sure in User Model uses HasFactory has trait

php artisan tinker
--> type in command prompt:
App\Models\User::factory()->create(); // insert 1 record in user table.

//For multiple records
App\Models\User::factory()->count(10)->create(); // insert 1 record in user table.

User::factory()->count(10)->create();

// Instead of tinker we can create seeder also

php artisan make:seed UserTableSeeder //This will create seeder file in database\seeder

open UserTableSeeder.php

use App\Models\User;

public function run()
{
	User::factory()->count(10)->create();
}

// run seeder using command

php artisan db:seed; // for all seeder
php artisan db:seed --class=UserTableSeeder
