The market data publisher (MDP) receives executions (fills) from the matching engine and builds the order books and candlestick charts from the stream of executions. The order books and candlestick charts, which we discuss in the Data Models section later, are collectively called market data. The market data is sent to the data service where they are made available to subscribers. Figure 10 shows an implementation of MDP and how it fits with the other components in the market data flow.
