The Cloud controller allows Kubernetes to integrate with cloud services, such as storage and load-balancers. The hands-on examples that will come up in later chapters will help you integrate a cloud load-balancer with an application that you will deploy to a Kubernetes cluster.

There are more services that are run in a Kubernetes control plane, but those are not relevant to the subject matter of this course.
