- Double-click on the downloaded executable (.exe) file.
- Click "Next" on the Welcome screen.
- Read and accept the License Agreement, then click "Next".
- Choose the destination folder where you want to install JDK (default is usually fine), then click "Next".
- Select the components you want to install. Typically, you would want to include both the "Development Tools" and "Public JRE" options. Then, click "Next".
- Choose the Start Menu folder where you want the JDK shortcuts to be placed, then click "Next".
- Finally, click "Install" to begin the installation process.
- Wait for the installation to complete.
- Once the installation is finished, you will see a "Java Development Kit Installed" screen. Click "Close" to exit the installer.
