Chess is a good thing, but maybe don't play chess while working.
It really helps with prediction of events and
getting into the mindset of "if I do that, how can my action be opposed"
which is very useful for anticheat coding and general debugging.
Other than chess.com there's another very good website: chesstempo.com
It really helps you learn how to play chess and find different patterns for free!
